Q. How many can be seated in Cedar Hall?
A. There is seating for 120 with additional standing area for 80 giving a total capacity of 200.
Q. How do you arrange a viewing or make a booking?
Q. Is Cedar Hall heated during the winter?
A. Underfloor heating is provided throughout the building, including the lavatory! This is via a renewable ground source heat pump drawing heat from underneath the car park through pipe work connecting to Cedar Hall.
Q. Is there audio equipment for speaking and playing music?
A. An audio system has been designed and installed by specialists at Production Bureau including speakers and microphones. The system also allows for all types of devices to be connected including CD players and memory sticks.
Q. Is catering offered in Cedar Hall after a service?
A. We offer tea, coffee and biscuits for an additional charge or alternatively we can suggest some local public houses to suit your catering needs.
Q. Does the service have to be religious?
A. All ceremonies are individual and personal to the family. All faiths and denominations can use Cedar Hall and alternatively a non-religious ceremony can take place.
Q. How long can the hall be hired for?
A. There is a minimum charge to use the hall for one hour with an additional charge in 30 minute increments thereafter.
Q. Can you see the Bluebell Wood from Cedar Hall?
A. There are panoramic views of the Bluebell Wood in addition to the Woodland Meadow and Queens Diamond Jubilee Wood.
Q. Where are the lavatories situated?
A. A lavatory with disabled access is available next to the car park and within Cedar Hall with access from the outside of the hall.
Q. What is the arrangement for car parking?
A. Ample car parking is available in the main car park and overflow car park, if required. There are dedicated disabled car parking spaces in the main car park and adjacent to Cedar Hall.
