The Coronavirus Act 2020 has taken effect including the Health Protection Regulations 2020.

We continue to operate to make arrangements for funerals, burials or ash interments and can be contacted by prior appointment on 01603 898 021 or
07557 200 398.

In accordance with guidance from the Institute of Crematorium and Cemetery Management (ICCM) attendance at a funeral should be limited to the following people:

  • Spouse/partner
  • Parents/carers
  • Brothers/sisters
  • Children (and partners)
  • Grandchildren
  • Person officiating at the service
  • Funeral director and bearers where being used

In certain circumstances where a person has few or no immediate relatives it would be acceptable for a close friend to attend the funeral.

Government social distancing guidelines must be followed limiting the number of seats in the Cedar Hall to 10 with two metres between each seat. We would ask anyone over 70 and those with an underlying health condition to carefully consider whether they should attend.

These measures are in place to protect those attending a funeral and our staff from exposure to the virus.

Thank you for your understanding and we will keep you informed should there be any further changes to these arrangements.
