Funerals at Norfolk Bluebell Wood can be led by the family, clergy, a celebrant, or a humanist. It is a personal choice, allowing each service to be planned and conducted in a relaxed and dignified manner. Families may choose to hold the ceremony in the tranquil setting of Cedar Hall or opt for a simple graveside service.
The award-winning Cedar Hall offers a flexible and peaceful space, accommodating both small and large services. We allow a minimum of two hours for each service, giving you ample time to hold a meaningful and personal ceremony.

Each of our habitats offer the perfect place for quiet reflection. We encourage visitors to come at any time, and you will find many beautiful spots to explore as you come to pay your respects. We benefit from excellent access from Norwich, situated off the A140 (Norwich to Cromer road) and within easy reach of the north Norfolk coast.

We are all increasingly aware of our impact on the environment and wish to be as careful in choosing our final resting place as we are in our day to day lives.

Coffin Materials
For that reason, we place some restrictions on the types of coffin that can be used. All coffins and shrouds must be biodegradable with no oil-based products. Our aim is to create an environmentally sustainable ecosystem where new life arises from the old. Memorials include a bronze plaque mounted on an oak post or a York stone, depending on habitat.
