As Probate Manager for Heritage Wills my team and I were recently invited to visit Norfolk Bluebell Wood Burial Park to look at the facilities and the services they offer to families. We were struck by the beauty of the surroundings and the peace and quiet as we had a tour of the meadows and woodland areas.

We talked with Andrew and Caroline and their team in the incredible Cedar Hall venue and were pleased to realise that we shared very similar values, both being local businesses with a passion for helping families during one of the most difficult times they will encounter.

We had recently worked with Matthew having chosen Norfolk Bluebell Wood as the final resting place when making arrangements for one of our own clients and were impressed by the efficient and friendly support he provided in choosing a wonderful position surrounded by nature and a beautiful service.

Dealing with funeral arrangements and navigating the many administration tasks following a bereavement can be very overwhelming. Like the staff at Norfolk Bluebell Wood, the Heritage Wills Probate Team are on hand to talk with families and offer compassionate help and advice regarding registering the death and notifying the various banks, financial institutions, pension and utility companies and many other matters.

In some estates a Grant of Probate is needed and again we can help and advise when this is necessary. This can include help with applying for Probate, knowing when Inheritance Tax is payable and what allowances may be claimed to increase the Inheritance Tax allowance. We can also handle the whole administration process on behalf of the family and many people choose this as an option.

We very much look forward to working with the team at Norfolk Bluebell Wood going forward and are keen to visit again soon to see the wonderful bluebells.
